After returning yesterday for their first training session of the week, Juventus continued their build-up towards Friday night’s Serie A fixture against Bologna with a morning workout in Vinovo.
While heavy rainfall made for testing training conditions, there was no dampening the league leaders’ enthusiasm as they were put through their paces in front of an adoring crowd of fans.
Their support was rewarded when the Bianconeri finished their athletic workout and broke out into an entertaining practice match that featured plenty of slick passes and goalmouth action.
Ending the session early was Alex Sandro, who left the training field after reporting a muscle complaint. The Brazilian’s condition will be assessed tomorrow.
Massimiliano Allegri’s men will return to their preparations when they regroup on the training ground on Wednesday for another morning session.
