Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi has urged his side to give their all in Sunday afternoon’s match away to the Bianconeri, as they look to record a first league victory over the champions in 25 attempts.

“We know that Juventus will make for a very difficult game,” opened the 40-year-old. “They’ll be keen to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat, but we want to give it a real go.

“We need to start the match well tomorrow, give them as little room for manoeuvre as possible and, of course, take our opportunities. We’re feeling ready, even if it’s true that playing at Juventus Stadium is a different proposition to most other arenas.

“They’ve won five Serie A titles on the trot and they’re favourites for the Scudetto again this year, but we’re focused on imposing our own game. We’ve grown a lot since we last met in the summer. We weren’t clinical enough that day and (Sami) Khedira made the most of his chance inside the box. I don’t know who (Massimiliano) Allegri will pick this time around, but I’m concentrating only on my own boys.”
