What a way to score your first goal for Juve. You enter the fray midway through the second half of a delicately poised Champions League knockout tie and within five minutes you've broken the deadlock with a clinical finish.

That's what Marko Pjaca did at Porto tonight as the Bianconeri secured a crucial two-goal advantage in the last-16 first leg - a match he won't be forgetting in a hurry.

“I'm delighted to score of course, and even more pleased about the win,” he beamed after the final whistle.

“2-0 is a great result to take back to our place, but we must remain focused – it only takes a moment for everything to flip on its head in football. We'll need to be really careful in the return leg."

The Croatian starlet won't have done his claims for a starting berth any harm with his 72nd-minute strike but he's not getting carried away.

“It's the gaffer's job to pick the team. All I can do is play my game and try to perform to the very best of my ability.”
