In his seven and a half years as a Bianconero, Andrea Barzagli has been a rock at the back claiming seven Scudettos, four Coppa Italias and three Italian Supercups, but Barza's value to the squad goes well beyond his on-field contributions.
The World Cup-winner brings experience, tenacity, class, consistency and a stubbornness to his demeanor that has earned his nickname, "The Rock."
The rear guard at Allianz Stadium simply wouldn't be the same without Barzagli and we are proud to announce that one of our #MY7H-ical men has signed a contract extension with Juventus through 2019.
Barza will no-doubt be an integral member of a side that again has eyes on Serie A, Coppa Italia and the UEFA Champions League.
We couldn't be happier to keep our "rock" at the back, a man who embodies our #FinoAllaFine mindset!
