March 12, 1921: Giovanni Agnelli was born

On 12 March 1921, one of the most important figures in our history was born in Turin: Giovanni Agnelli.

His passion for Juventus always accompanied the Club’s colours: first during his years as President - from 1947 to 1953 – and then remaining close to the fans and the team. Passion, self-sacrifice and unconditional love, were the traits that accompanied him throughout his time.

Agnelli was an iconic man, unforgettable in style, elegance, charisma and competence. He was a strong and passionate character, capable of facing every situation, even the most difficult of them, with intelligence and professionalism
