      PAULO DYBALA

Nicknamed ‘The Jewel’ (‘La Joya’), Paulo Dybala is one of the most elegant, yet thrilling, forward players in circulation and makes fans rise from their seats whenever he collects the ball inside the final third.
Born in Laguna Larga, Argentina, Dybala progressed through the youth ranks of hometown club, Instituto Atletico Central Cordoba, before breaking into the first team in 2011. An instant impact earnt him a move the following year to Palermo. He would help the Rosanero claim the Serie B title in his second season in Sicily, before catching attentions with continued strong performances and goalscoring prowess in Italy’s top flight ahead of sealing a move to Juventus in the summer of 2015.
Seamlessly stepping up to the big stage, Dybala wasted no time in establishing himself as one of Europe’s brightest stars, finishing the club’s leading scorer in his debut campaign with 23 goals across all competitions and second-highest assist provider (nine).
Despite occupying a slightly deeper role thereafter, Juve’s number 10 once again topped the Bianconeri scoring charts in 2017/18 with a total of 26 goals.
It’s now a common sight for La Joya to be strutting his stuff in any corner of the field, but it’s inside and around the edge of the area where he is at his devastating best, scoring wonder strike after wonder strike with that magical left foot of his.
