All the Bianconere involved in October national team duty

After picking up an important three points against Fiorentina to keep them top of the log, the Bianconere will put domestic matters on ice for the following two weeks as October’s international break comes around.

As always, there are many - 18 this time - Juventus Women players called up to their respective national sides, with the details of each listed below:

ITALY (Aprile, Boattin, Bonansea, Cantore, Caruso, Gama, Girelli, Lenzini, Salvai): A double commitment is lined up for the Azzurre in Group A4 in the UEFA Nations League, after their previous fixture in September. The first of the two matches will see Italy face the world champions Spain on Friday 27 October in Salerno, before taking on Sweden in Malmo on Tuesday, 31 October.

FRANCE (Peyraud-Magnin, Cascarino): Pauline and Estelle also have two Nations League fixtures scheduled on the same two days as Italy, with the French taking on Norway in back-to-back group A2 fixtures, the first away and the second at home.

SWEDEN (Sembrant, Nilden): There’s Nations League duty for Linda and Amanda as well, as Sweden take on Switzerland in Gothenburg on Tuesday, 27 October before facing up against several club teammates in their clash at home to Italy on October 31st.

HOLLAND (Beerensteyn): The Netherlands have back-to-back Nations League ties against Scotland, also taking place on 27 and 31 October.

BOSNIA HERZEGOVINA (Sliskovic): The Bosnian national team will also be involved in Nations League action on Friday 27 and Tuesday 31 October, in a home and away match-up against Czech Republic.

CANADA (Grosso): Two prestigious friendlies await Julia Grosso's Canadian national team, with two matches against Brazil lined up in Montreal and Halifax respectively.

ITALY UNDER-23 (Bellucci): A double friendly commitment awaits Bellucci with Italy Under-23 side, who take on England in Vercelli on Thursday, 26 October and Norway on Monday, 30 October in Tonsberg.

SWEDEN UNDER-23 (Nystrom): Two high-level friendlies are also in store for Nystrom and her Sweden Under-23 team, who face Portugal on Thursday, 26 October and France on Monday, 30 October.

ITALY UNDER-19 (Mustafic, Gallo, Bellgente, Moretti): A very important set of fixtures await the Italian Under-19 team who will be in France from Wednesday 25 to Tuesday 31 October, to take part in Round 1 of the qualifiers for the next U-19 European Championships. Italy, included in Group 1 of League A, will make their debut on Wednesday 25 October against Hungary in Colomiers, before lining up against Northern Ireland on Saturday, 28 October in Montauban before returning to Colomiers for the third and final match against France on October 31st. The top three in their group will enter the second phase, while the last in the group will be relegated to League B. The final phase of the European Championship will be played from 15 to 27 July 2023 in Lithuania.
