ALLEGRI: "CLAIM THE THREE POINTS ON OFFER TOMORROW"

Juventus welcome Bologna to the Allianz Stadium tomorrow, Saturday 16 April, kick off at 18h30 CEST, in Serie A Match Day 33. Massimiliano Allegri touched on various topics during the press conference but first of all wished his opposite number Sinisa Mihajlovic, undergoing further treatment in his fight against leukaemia, a speedy recovery.

OPPOSITION CHECK

“Bologna have drawn at Milan and won recently, so they are on form, and are physically strong. Their players will aim to put on a show for Sinisa, who’ll be absent and who we wish all the best on his road to recovery.”

TEAM UPDATE

“Leonardo Bonucci is fit and ready. I still need to decide who’ll start tomorrow between Giorgio Chiellini and Bonucci, with one thought to the cup match in midweek.

"Juan Cuadrado has been working all week, and today he trained well. His contract extension was triggered automatically because of the number of matches he has played already this season.”

“In the centre of the park, I’ve only got two midfielders available. If we play with three in midfield, I need to find someone else to fill in. If we employ only two in midfield, then we’re covered with Denis Zakaria and Adrien Rabiot.”

“Dusan Vlahovic will play tomorrow, and I hope he finishes the season as Serie A’s top goalscorer because it will mean his goals will have helped us nail down fourth place. Moise Kean has scored some important goals this season. Right now, other players are in better form, but he is always ready to make an impact coming off the bench.”

SEASON RUN-IN

“We have six matches between now and the end of the season, the last two against teams that are chasing us. In my opinion, we need at least 10 points to make it to the Champions League.”

"The team has grown and we’re working well, as we have been doing over the last six months. We are disappointed we were knocked out of the Champions League and lost the Italian Super Cup but it is still too early to judge our performance over the entire season. Next year we certainly need to improve our home form. Losing five matches at home can have an adverse effect on the entire campaign."

“I am here to build something important . I’ve already achieved a lot here, and intend to achieve more success at this club.”

“First off, we need to claim the three points on offer tomorrow. In fact, we need to put as many points as possible on the board from now until the end of the season.”
