Allegri: “Tomorrow we’ll have a great match.”

Tomorrow the Bianconeri will be back in action for an exciting clash against Napoli. It is one which will see the coach have to deal without Federico Chiesa and his South American players but will also have a host of U23 players available.

Here is what he had to say:

ALLEGRI’S THOUGHTS

This is the calendar schedule and we must accept it with absolute serenity. Tomorrow we will have a great match. Our strength must be balance. Both when things go great and when they go badly.

SOUTH AMERICANS

It will be a good match against a team with excellent technical values. I chose to leave the South Americans at home, but there will be interesting guys like De Winter, Sule, Miretti. Cuadrado could have returned but had an attack of gastroenteritis and remained in Colombia for investigations. The absences must not be an excuse because the players who will take the field will do so to get three points. The South Americans played at 3am this morning, they would arrive in Naples tomorrow morning and it makes little sense to risk them, also because on Tuesday we have kick off the UCL.

PLAYER UPDATE

Mckennie is fine and he will be in the starting XI. Federico Chiesa will stay at home as a precaution. Kean looks good to me; he is a player we wanted and he would have arrived regardless of Cristiano's departure. Ramsey should rejoin the team during the week, Kaio Jorge is a little bit behind, and Arthur is recovering smoothly. He should, at the end of the month, slowly rejoin the team.

YOUNGSTERS

The youngsters, regardless of how much they have been paid, need a path of growth, technical and mental. That's why Ranocchia and Fagioli, after a year with the Under 23s, went to play in Serie B.
