ALLEGRI: "We aim to end on a positive note"

Later this afternoon, Juventus set off for Udine, where they will play their last game of season 2022/23.

Ahead of the final training session before departure, Massimiliano Allegri spoke to the press in the pre-match conference at the Allianz Stadium. The coach covered various topics, including his expecations for the last act of the campaign and an assessment of the tumultuous year.

He also thanked Paolo Bianco, a member of his backroom staff, "Paolo will start a coaching career of his own next season. We're really happy and proud of him - it's proof that he's been doing his job well. He's got what it takes to become a top coach."

LAST TEST OF THE SEASON

"The team is in good shape, we've trained well and we want to end the season in Udine on a positive note after having lost the last two games. I'm expecting the team to show a reaction. We want to perform well - that said, Udinese will be out to beat us.

"We're aiming for the Europa League. It's been really demanding for the players, they're not robots - this season has been a balancing act. It's a shame as we could have been playing for a place in the Champions League."

TEAM NEWS

"[Dušan] Vlahović, Bremer as well as [Mattia] De Sciglio, [Nicolò] Fagioli and [Paul] Pogba will be missing from tomorrow's encounter."

"In terms of professionalism, I've got no complaints from anyone at the training ground. Obviously some people are happier than others, that's part of football. Football isn't an exact science. We've got to analyse these two seasons carefully, knowing that perfection simply doesn't exist."

LOOKING FORWARD

"I knew that, given when I came back to Juve the club was in a rebuilding phase, success wouldn't be straightforward. We all come out of the season in a better place having improved our mental resolve.

"We've got strong foundations for next season, and every problem has a solution. We'll weigh up everything from Monday onward. We'll look at things at the end of the campaign. Next season we aim to do better. My passion isn't in doubt."

"My players have done a good job and next season will be different. We'll find out tomorrow our European fate for next season and how it'll impact on our planning as we regroup on 10 July."
