Felice Tufano’s Allievi Nazionali rounded off their regular season with a 4-0 triumph away at league leaders Empoli earlier this afternoon.
All the goals came in 12 first-half minutes as Davide Arras, Fabio Morselli, Carlo Manicone and Stefano Monteleone got their names on the scoresheet during a brilliant display in Tuscany.
The result sees Tufano’s third-placed troops reach 50 points in the domestic standings, a haul which guarantees their place in the end of season play-offs.
They will now wait to see who they could face in next month’s competition, with Cesena, Hellas Verona, Perugia, Brescia or Napoli providing the possible opponents.
