Attentions turn to the Biancocelesti

Hot on the heels of yesterday evening’s 1-0 Champions League quarter-final first leg success over Monaco in Turin, Massimiliano Allegri welcomed his charges back to Juventus Center to begin work for Saturday’s top-of-the-table Serie A clash against Lazio.

Stefano Pioli’s men, who were defeated 3-0 by the reigning champions on home turf in November’s reverse fixture, have catapulted themselves up the domestic standings following eight straight league victories and it will take a perfect performance to stop their winning run.

Having assembled on the training ground this morning, the Bianconeri followed the team’s standard post-match routine. Those who featured in the triumph at Juventus Stadium underwent a warm-down, while the remainder of the squad were put through their paces in a workout that covered both fitness and technique.

Allegri’s troops are set to regroup in Vinovo tomorrow as they intensify their preparations for the upcoming encounter with another morning session.
