After the goalless draw with Barcelona, Andrea Barzagli welcomed what could prove a useful point in this Champions League group stage.
“We played well – we knew it would be tough. Sometimes we play in flashes out on the pitch and can lose our impetus. I really don’t know why that is,” he said following the final whistle.
“On a positive note we didn’t concede a goal, but we could have performed better, both in attack and those of us at the back in building play.”
