Gianpaolo Calvarese will run the rule over the Serie A Matchday 18 tie between Juventus and Hellas Verona on 6 January (15.00 CET kick-off), his ninth appointment of the season and 66th of his career.
The Bianconeri are undefeated in the league (two wins and one draw) in ties officiated by the 39-year-old referee, and will indeed have fond memories of their most recent encounter in last season’s 6-1 Coppa Italia thrashing of Wednesday’s visitors Verona.
Calvarese will be joined by assistant referees Giulio Dobosz and Mauro Vivenzi, fourth official Andrea Crispo and additional goal-line officials Daniele Doveri and Maurizio Mariani.
