Sunday’s victory over Genoa was an afternoon of firsts for Juventus and that pattern looks set to continue as Wednesday night’s visit of Frosinone sees 34-year old referee Angelo Cervellera take control of a Bianconeri match for the first time in his career.
Joining Cervellera will be assistant referees Andrea Padovan and Alberto Tegoni, fourth official Giorgio Schenone and additional goal-line officials Piero Giacomelli and Federico La Penna.
The Puglian-born referee’s first appointment this season came in Liguria as Sampdoria beat Bologna by two goals to nil.
