Following a recurrence of an injury previously sustained to his left thigh in training yesterday morning, medical examinations on Giorgio Chiellini today have come back positive, ruling out any long-term damage for the defender.
Chiellini's condition will however continue to be monitored in the coming days with further inspections set to take place at the start of next week.
