Giacomelli to take charge of Cesena clash

Piero Giacomelli has been named referee for Wednesday evening’s Serie A encounter with Cesena at Juventus Stadium. This will be only the second time the Trieste-born official has overseen a Bianconeri fixture, having previously taken charge of a 1-0 home success against Bologna in April 2014, decided by Paul Pogba’s solitary strike. Giacomelli will be flanked in Turin by assistant referees Galloni and Tegoni, goal-line officials Massa and Abbattista and fourth official Tonolini.
