Douglas was quickly able to enter the hearts of the Juventus fans thanks to his unique qualities: exceptional shots, unstoppable skills and incredible speed, so much so that he earned the perfect nickname of Flash.
Last season, which culminated in the conquest of the ninth-consecutive Scudetto, he was able to contribute with great plays, scoring three goals in the process: in the Coppa Italia from the penalty spot, a corker in Serie A and a goal of the tournament contender in the Champions League.
