#JuveCagliari: Talking points

  1. BIANCONERI BREAKING RECORDS

This season is the best start to a Serie A championship in its current format in Juventus' history. After 11 games the Bianconeri have picked up 10 wins and one draw, giving them 31 points.

Not only that but Juventus also equalled the points record for all teams after 11 games in Serie A.

  1. FAST START

Paulo Dybala's opening goal after 42 seconds last night, is the fastest goal scored by Juventus in Serie A after Arturo Vidal's goal against Inter after just 18 seconds in 2012, also on 3 November.

Not only that, but only 125 seconds passed between João Pedro's equaliser and the Bianconeri re-taking the lead through Filip Bradaric's own goal.

  1. LA JOYA STRIKES AGAIN

After the four goals scored in the Champions League, the good form of Dybala continues! Having been named MVP for the month of October and presented with the award pitchside before the game, La Joya went on to score the important opener in the 3-1 win.

La Joya has now scored four goals in four Serie A games against Cagliari.

  1. CAGLIARI FIGHTBACK

With yesterday's goal, Cagliari has interrupted a 401-minute streak, in which the Bianconeri hadn't conceded against the Rossoblu. Their last goal against Juve in Serie A had come back in May 2015. In addition, that goal has meant that the La Vecchia Signora has conceded goals for three consecutive league games for the first time this season.

  1. DOMINATING THE PITCH

Juventus led in the statistics in last night's encounter. Shots: 16 to six, Passing accuracy: 89.5% to 83%, Duels won: 52 to 49.

Not only that, but Juve covered more ground and more evenly (although the Bianconeri attacks came mainly from the wings, on the left in 39% of cases and on the right 37% of the time).
