Juventus and China Merchants Bank announce regional Partnership

Juventus are proud to strengthen our relationship with China and continue our plans for growth in the region, and today it is announced that China Merchants Bank will be linked with Juventus through to 2020 as the new Official Bank in China.

China Merchants Bank represents excellence in the field of banking services and is deeply rooted in the Asian territory, having been named "Bank of the Year in China 2016" and being 11th among Chinese banks in the global ranking (2017).

Giorgio Ricci, Co-Chief Revenue Officer - Global Partnership and Corporate Revenues: "We are proud to announce this Partnership, it is the fifth agreement signed with a leading brand in Asia in the last year, and we are proud to be linked to a leading company like China Merchants Bank. This agreement confirms the great potential of a country like China for the Club's development objectives."

The Partnership, which is China Merchants Bank’s first with a football club, will give the opportunity to create co-branded payment cards using Juventus visual identity, characterised by its recognisable symbols such as the logo and the shirt. The Chinese bank will also have the opportunity to offer a variety of experiential assets dedicated to the involvement of fans and a series of discounts dedicated to the Bianconeri fans in China.

The Partnership with Juventus is the first-ever agreement China Merchants Bank has signed with a football club, said China Merchants Bank General Manager Zhang Dong. The co-branded credit card is just one of several operations dedicated to football fans in the territory of China.”
