Juventus boost position as club with most World Cup winners

Which team can boast to have the most world cup winners? Juventus. No club has had more players collect a World Cup winners medal and with Angel Di Maria's and Leandro Paredes' success at Qatar 2022 with Argentina, the number has grown. There are now 27 Bianconeri world champions - no club in the history of football has more.

Juventus sat proudly on top of this ranking even before this World Cup started, but now the club has pulled further away from Bayern Munich, still on 24. The German champioins could have overtaken the Bianconeri if the French had run out winners in the final because in the ranks of Didier Deschamps there were four Bayern Munich players, but the trophy ended up in the hands of Paredes and Di Maria.
