#JuveSassuolo: Talking Points

  1. CR7 OFF THE MARK

In his fourth match in the black and white, Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first goals for Juventus following his summer arrival from Real Madrid.

The big moment came in the 50th minute when CR7 reacted first when the ball fell to him from a corner to put Juve 1-0 up from close range. Fifteen minutes later and Ronaldo had his second, as he collected the ball on the left-hand side from Emre Can and burst forward, finishing low and hard past Andrea Consigli in the Sassuolo goal.

  1. CAPTAIN KHEDIRA

Following his midweek contract extension, the week got even better for Sami Khedira who captained Juventus against Sassuolo for the first time. The German midfielder turned in another steady performance, playing the full 90 minutes.

  1. CAN FROM THE START

Emre Can made his first Bianconeri start against Sassuolo, playing 71 minutes before being replaced by Rodrigo Bentancur in the second half.

Can capped his involvement from the off with an assist for Ronaldo's second goal as he supplied the through pass for the Portuguese number seven to finish with aplomb.

  1. FIRST CONSECUTIVE FIRST FOUR

For the first time in Serie A, Juventus have won all of their first four league games for two seasons in a row.
