Fernando Llorente says he is eager for Juventus to put the title race to bed at the first time of asking on Saturday night against Sampdoria.
The Spaniard, who netted a first-half equaliser as the Bianconeri came from behind to beat Fiorentina yesterday evening, believes a positive result at the weekend would enable the team to focus on their upcoming Champions League tie against Real Madrid without any distractions.
Speaking at Juventus Stadium, Llorente said: “Before we needed four points and now we require just one to reach an important goal – our fourth consecutive Scudetto. Let’s put the title race to bed on Saturday, then we can think about Real.
“We need to put in a perfect performance against Real because they don’t put a foot wrong. We can cause them problems and I’m ready to give my all if I get the nod.”
