Orsato to referee Atalanta match

Daniele Orsato has been confirmed as referee for Saturday evening’s Serie A match with Atalanta at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia.

The Bianconeri’s record under the Venetian-born official - who has overseen 18 previous fixtures involving Juventus - reads five victories, nine draws and four defeats.

December 2007 was the last time Orsato presided over a meeting of Saturday’s opponents, with Pavel Nedved’s solitary strike four minutes from time sealing all three points for the Bianconeri in a 1-0 success.

He will be assisted in Bergamo by Giallatini and Bianchi whilst Cervellera and Merchiori will serve as goal-line officials. Preti has been named as fourth official.
