Press room | Comments after Juve-Cagliari

Juventus began 2020 with a four-goal haul against Cagliari, in which, in addition to the collective performance, Cristiano Ronaldo's hat-trick stands out. And it is the Portuguese, along with Maurizio Sarri and Adrien Rabiot, among the best against the Sardinians, who spoke at the end of the game. These are their statements from Allianz Stadium's press room:

CRISTIANO RONALDO

"The most important aspect is performance and the team played very well. Certainly it's nice to score, but beyond my goals today we had to win and put pressure on Inter. I don't know if I will see the game against Napoli, we must be calm and think about doing our best. We are doing it: we are improving game after game, in defence, in midfield and upfront. We must grow in all aspects."

MAURIZIO SARRI

"Today we played 80 minutes on the same level as the first 45 against Udinese, Sampdoria and Napoli. For a longer period we have put in place a quality that so far we have only expressed in flashes. Ramsey and Rabiot had a good game: the former is finding continuity and had an excellent game from a defensive point of view, the latter did what was ordered. The biggest difficulty we have at the moment comes from the movements of the midfielders who are different with the attacking midfielder from when we are with 4-3-3. It is a difficulty that I hope we will be able to overcome in this month of training."

ADRIEN RABIOT

"I am ready to adapt to play where the team needs. When I arrived I had been standing still for a while, now I'm picking up the pace. I always feel better and we want to work to continue like this. I like our philosophy, to have the ball as much as possible and immediately attack the other team. This allows us to recover the ball immediately and with time we will improve further."
