PRESS ROOM | Comments from Bergamo

Massimiliano Allegri, Matthijs de Ligt and Danilo spoke about the match in Bergamo following the draw against Atalanta.

MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI

"It would have been a great regret to lose a match where we played well technically. Unfortunately, we missed a bit in the implementation phase, making several wrong moves in various potentially favourable game situations. Overall, the match we played was good. We were only at risk at the end of the first half on two occasions in which de Ligt proved to be fundamental and in the second half, in fact, on the action that then led to the free kick scored by Malinovskyi. The reaction that the team had, however, after having conceded a goal, was important. Danilo's goal in the final moments was deserved after having played an extraordinary game. Now let's recharge our batteries and get ready for next Friday's Derby."

MATTHIJS DE LIGT

"Today's match was very difficult because we were playing against a very strong team like Atalanta. I think it was, on the whole, a nice game to play and to watch for the spectators. We are sorry to have brought home only one point, but we are confident to extend our streak of positive consecutive results. The championship is hard-fought and it is mandatory, from now to the end, to think about one match at a time with the aim of gaining as many points as possible."

DANILO

"We tried to win this match in every way, but in the end we hold on to this point because of how the match went. In a direct match like this, away from home, there can be a draw, but we can still grow and do better. For me this goal is very important and I dedicate it first of all to the team because in recent months there have been difficult moments, but we have always been united by working hard."
