"With this success we have laid the foundations for next year, which will once again be an important season for us. If we managed to secure this victory, it's thanks to the girls and the staff, all of whom did something great today.

"It is clear that we would always like to see Juve win, but you always have to be at the top of your form to do it. Even if you don't always win, it is essential to be there fighting for all the trophies - this is what it means being part of a great team. Today we are delighted with this trophy."

BARBARA BONANSEA

"We wanted to win at least one trophy to keep up our positive run. We worked hard and we pulled it off. Sometimes it happens that you don't win, football is like that. We have thought about went wasn't working out during those difficult moments times and today we fixed it. We have worked a lot in recent weeks and it showed.

"It has been a difficult year, we've suffered a lot, but we pulled together and managed to achieve one of the goals for the season. We said today we'd do it for each other and that's what we did. It was a hard-fought game. We fought for all the trophies with Roma this year. We're the two best teams. We did it thanks to our team spirit. Every win is special. Winning like this in the end, with my header, is something I will keep in my heart. We won it for us and for those who won't be with us next year."
