STATS & FACTS | MILAN - JUVENTUS WOMEN

FANTA5TIC FIVE - Juventus won their fifth straight scudetto last weekend with their 18th victory of the season, more than any other club. Furthermore, the Bianconere boast the tightest defence (13 goals conceded) and the second most prolific attack (55 goals to Roma’s 57)

STATEMENT OF INTENT - No team has defeated Milan more often than Juventus have, eight in all competitions, including the four meetings this season (Serie A in December, Italian Super Cup in January and Italian Cup semi-finals between March and May) racking up 18 goals along the way.

PIECE WORK - Milan are second to Juventus when it comes to conceding from set pieces. While Juve have yet to lose a goal from such a situation, of the six conceded by Milan, two were against the Bianconere in the first meeting - a penalty by Lisa Boattin and a free kick that set up Andrea Stasková.

BACK IN ATTACK - Milan-Juventus brings together the only five defenders that have participated in more than five goals in this year’s Serie A: Milan’s Linda Tucceri (11 - four goals and seven assists), Sara Thrige (six - two goals and four assists) and Alia Guagni (six - one goal and five assists), and from Juve, Lisa Boattin (10 - six goals and four assists) and Amanda Nildén (six - one goal and five assists).

SAFE PAIR OF HANDS - Pauline Peyraud-Magnin (81%) and her predecessor at Juve Laura Giuliani (77.5%) are the two goalkeepers with the highest percentage of saves this Serie A campaign, considering those with at least 10 appearances in the tournament.
