After a season and a half in the black and white shirt, with which he won a Scudetto and an Italian Super Cup, Emre Can has bid farewell to Juventus.

AGREEMENT WITH BORUSSIA DORTMUND FOR THE TRANSFER OF THE PLAYER EMRE CAN

Turin, 31 January 2020 - Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that the agreement with Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA for the loan, until 30 June 2020, of the registration rights of the player Emre Can has been finalized for a consideration of € 1 million to be paid in 2019/2020 financial year.

Furthermore, Borussia Dortmund will be obliged to definitively acquire the player for a consideration of € 25 million, to be paid in three financial years, if given sport results will be achieved in the course of the 2019/2020 financial year.

He is a complete midfielder, who has proven strong when going in for a tackle and who is also capable of playing in the middle of the field as well as in defence.

In total, Emre Can amassed 37 appearances in the league with the Old Lady, scoring four goals. In addition, he also featured on two occasions in the Italian Cup and six times in the Champions League.

In the 2018/2019 season, Emre scored against Chievo and Udinese at the Allianz Stadium and against Sassuolo and Napoli while on the road. On 18 August 2018, he made his debut in the Juventus jersey: a 3-2 victory against Chievo. His last official match dates back to January 6, while one of his most memorable games played will be that of the famous comeback against Atletico Madrid in Turin on March 12, 2019.
