Four of our Juventus Men’s First Team players were in action on the evening of Tuesday, November 18, as the international window wrapped up ahead of club football’s return this weekend. Three of the four had competitive games to play, while Jonathan David faced a friendly with Canada.

It was a night of celebration for Lois Openda and his Belgium teammates who, with a 7-0 win over Liechtenstein, sealed their place at the 2026 World Cup. Lois came on to play the last half an hour.

Edon Zhegrova came on shortly after the hour mark for Kosovo in their 1-1 draw against Switzerland, with his side a goal behind at the time. The result ends a group stage that sees Kosovo finish second, sending them to the playoffs with the hopes of booking their own ticket to next summer’s tournament.

Kenan Yildiz was named on the bench for Turkiye in their 2-2 draw against Spain, and they will also have to go through the playoffs if they are to qualify for the World Cup.

David played 75 minutes in Canada’s 2-0 friendly win over Venezuela.
