Marco Ottolini, after taking his first steps as a footballer with Brescia Calcio, began a decade-long career as a football agent and intermediary for clubs. In 2015, he joined RSC Anderlecht, where he worked as an international scout and attracted the attention of several European clubs, including Juventus, with whom he started collaborating in July 2018.
His first stint with the Bianconeri saw him serve initially as an international scout, then as head of loan players and coordinator of the “Club 15” project— a network of partnerships with various international clubs aimed at accelerating talent development and creating sustainable synergies to facilitate negotiations and transfers.
During these years, he also contributed to the launch and consolidation of Next Gen, a cornerstone of Juventus’ strategy for youth development.
In July 2022, Genoa called him to take on the role of Sporting Director. Under his leadership, the club achieved promotion and maintained its place in Serie A in the following seasons, combining sporting success with asset enhancement.
At the end of October 2025, he mutually terminated his relationship with Genoa, and as of January 1, 2026, he has been appointed Sporting Director of Juventus.
