GIANLUCA BERUTTI

Growing, one step at a time

Gianluca is one of those who has always been there.
From Pinerolo FD to Juventus One, he has experienced every stage of this journey, watching it grow year after year.

“In 2017 we were a small group, then with Juve everything changed. There were more of us, new teams and new people joined, and we all learned something extra — on and off the pitch.”

For him, football is much more than a game.
It’s a source of balance, an outlet, but also a school of life.

“When you’re having a bad day, when you feel like you’re about to explode, you come here, you kick hard, and everything goes away. Sport is also for this: to let it all out and start again.”

On the pitch Gianluca is steady, quiet, reliable.
Off the pitch, the same.
He has worked as a warehouseman in a factory for five years: a stable, precise job that requires concentration and attention.

“At work it’s not like in football. There you can’t make mistakes. But sport helps me: it keeps me sharp, helps me find calm again, teaches me to stay focused.”

He lives alone, organizes his days, trains, and does sports twice a week — football and volleyball.
His life is made of small but solid balances.

“For me, sport is growth. It’s the push to do better, always. To never stop, even when you think you’ve already given everything.”

Looking back, he recognizes how much he has changed over time.
More confident, more mature, more aware.

“Football has given me so much: trust in others, the pleasure of being in a group, the feeling of belonging to something real.”

When he talks about the team, he calls it “a second home.”
And he says it with the simplicity of someone who truly feels it: because he trains with his teammates, but he also goes out with them, laughs with them, shares things with them.
Pizza after training, messages in the group chat, the joke that eases the tiredness: little rituals that are part of the game just as much as the ball.

“We grew up together.
Every year you learn something, you measure yourself against yourself, you understand that you can always improve.
And that, for me, is the best part.”

In his calm and grounded way, Gianluca perfectly represents the spirit of Juventus One: the desire to move forward, one step at a time, and to keep growing — on the pitch, at work, in life.
