2021. Together

Memories are made up of voices, images and sounds. The greatest joys and the deepest despair. It's all part of the adventure.

We are lucky to be on this adventure with you, day after day. An adventure that never ends, even when the calendar does. What is put on hold, starts up again. And 'on hold' is exactly what we think of when we look back over the last 12 months – which feel like 12 years. 

We started again on 6 January at Allianz Stadium, with the usual party atmosphere, sounds and colours, goals, thrills and spills. A celebration of football – something we always took for granted. Not for much longer.

We all know what happened next and here is not the place to go over it again. But we can relive the sounds and the images.

The roar turned into silence, and remained silent even when we were able to start playing again. That's how it was meant to be – for us, for you and for the sport we love. 

It wasn't the same, though. We showed the same commitment as always, and lifted the Scudetto trophy, as we always have in recent years. But it was not the same.

It was not, it is not and it will not be in the immediate future. 

A new year is about to begin with fresh challenges, more thrills to be experienced and a future to write. For now we can't do it the way we'd like; all we can do is hope we'll be back together again as soon as possible.

We know you are always by our side, even when things don't go exactly as we want. And we are sure of two things. 

The first is that we miss you – we've missed you since that last game together in March.

The second is that we're here. And so are you.
