It was a memorable weekend for the Juventus Academy family in the United States, with the annual Academy 'Kickoff 2024' tournament which took place in Miami on 2 March.
The event, now in its sixth year, was a moment of great celebration, involving many children, present with their families, taking part in several matches organised for the occasion. Suffice it to say that the Miami Academy has over 2 000 members with various categories in the 'MLS Next' league.
And these football and Juventus fans were not alone: with them - and with the mayors of the many Miami counties in which the new Academy will operate - was none other than... The Wall, Andrea Barzagli!
The Juventus legend was an enthusiastic participant in the inauguration of the new facility, with his weekend in Miami full of events which kept him busy. Andrea was present at the Kaseya Center for the NBA Basketball match between the Miami Heat and Utah Jazz on Saturday, before meeting the fans of our Official Fan Clubs on Sunday (there are two in Miami alone, "Palm Beach" and "South Florida") and then in the afternoon, he cheered for the Bianconeri during the Watch Party held at the American Social, organised for the Bianconer’s match against Napoli.
