They say that home is where the heart is and, for anyone of a Bianconeri persuasion, that could not be more true.

Since its inauguration in 2011, Juventus Stadium has been a symbol of success in every sense. First and foremost, every season in the state-of-the-art arena has delivered silverware, including five Scudetto titles out of a possible five.

Secondly, each time the gates open on matchdays Massimiliano Allegri’s men are guaranteed the presence of that famous ‘12th man’, namely the supporters who have kept up the habit of coming in their masses yet again over the past campaign.

Indeed, 20 out of the 25 fixtures played at J-Stadium during 2015/16 were sellouts, resulting in the ground being 96 per cent full on average, hosting more than one million people over the course of the season, a figure superior to the total population of Turin.

Ever since its inception, the Stadium has placed a great emphasis on being family-friendly and its efforts have certainly paid off: approximately 30 per cent of tickets sold last term were of a discounted nature for children, women, Under 30s and Over 60s.

While the Bianconeri rarely fail to put on a show on the pitch, anyone who frequents the ground on a regular basis can testify to the fact that there is more to matchday than the game itself.

Seventy make-up artists, 100 welcome girls, 220 puppeteers, 450 children taken care of in the baby park and 3000 faces painted on average per game are figures that prove how the club provides lofty levels of entertainment off the field too.

With plenty of work going on behind the scenes to ensure that matchdays at J-Stadium continue to run like clockwork, here’s to more unforgettable, forthcoming campaigns at what has truly become the Bianconeri’s spiritual home.
