Debut boy Emil Audero revealed that Giorgio Chiellini and Gigi Buffon had provided inspiration for him after he made his senior debut for Juventus in the 2-1 win against Bologna.

"I'm happy to have made my full debut – words can't describe how it feels,” the 20-year-old admitted.

“But people are always looking for ways to describe things and sometimes it's good just to live in the moment and enjoy it to the full – that's what [Giorgio] Chiellini said to me before the game.

"I couldn't wait to get out there today, have a decent warm-up and then play a good match."

Indonesian by birth, Emil says he's Juve through and through having spent almost a decade with the Bianconeri.

"I've grown up here – this is my ninth year at this club. The Juventus culture and work ethic are a part of me now.

"After spending so many years in the academy, I've learnt loads this season as well as having the privilege to share some wonderful moments with a team of world-class players.

"My team-mates are such great people. I've spent two years with them and the team spirit in training is just fantastic. The other lads were behind me all the way, reassuring me and wishing me luck."

As a goalkeeper, Audero couldn't have asked for a better role model.

"I've tried to learn from Gigi as he's the best there is.

"You might not have to do anything for 89 minutes and then right at the death you have to pull out a big save. That's what you have to do when you're a Juve keeper: stay focused at all times and produce the goods when called upon.

"The mental side of the game is really important for us goalies and I tried to get it right today."
