"We’d seen videos of [Kylian] Mbappe, but he really is an incredible player. Even at his age, he’s technically gifted, physically strong, pacey and his movement is fantastic – that’s rare. He cuts through the defence and has a nose for goal, which is why he had a couple of good chances tonight.
"[Radamel] Falcao, on the other hand, is a bit like [Filippo] Inzaghi – he never stands still for a second," said Barzagli.
The defender also had warm words for Gonzalo Higuain, whose two goals secured the victory for Juventus in Monaco.
"Gonzalo has worked really hard for the team in the Champions League, whereas in the league he’s more of a goal poacher," said Barzagli. "You saw the return of the great European striker he really is, with two goals that were anything but easy. It was a massive brace in terms of our upcoming matches. We’re all delighted for him."
