The Juventus Women's First Team and Inter played out a thrilling 3-3 draw on Serie A Women Matchday 21, a result that sees the Bianconere book their place in the UEFA Women's Champions League next season.

THE MATCH REPORT
It was a lively match right from the kick-off, with Juventus conceding the opening goal to the Nerazzurre just seconds in. Chiara Robustellini scored with a left-footed shot across goal from the edge of the box. The visitors continued to press forward, but it was Juventus who equalised in the 8th minute, following a corner taken by Lia Walti to the near post, with Ivana Andreas clumsily deflecting the ball into her own net.
However, the ever-reliable Robustellini wasted no time in finding the net again to complete her brace and make it 2-1 to Inter, beating Lindsey Thomas to the ball and heading past Danielle De Jong.
In such a difficult match for Coach Massimiliano Canzi’s side in attack, a turning point was needed to get back on track, and so in the 25th minute a penalty for handball gave the Bianconere a great opportunity. From the spot, Barbara Bonansea celebrated her 241st appearance in a Juventus shirt with a goal, a record she shares with Cristiana Girelli.
On the half-hour mark, however, Inter were also awarded a penalty: Amalie Vangsgaard fouled Elisa Bartoli and Tessa Wullaert stepped up to convert from the spot, making it 3-2 to the Nerazzurre.
An action-packed first half came to a close with Juventus' third equaliser. Vangsgaard, set up by Mathilde Harviken’s excellent lay-off from Eva Schatzer’s cross, fired a superb right-footed shot past Cecilia Ran Runarsdottir.
In the second half, the match remained wide open, with great chances at both ends, and Vangsgaard missing the chance to score a brace and put the Bianconere ahead on a couple of occasions before the hour mark.
The match remained fiercely contested and full of twists and turns but, unlike in the first half, the score remained 3-3. The result means that Juventus have secured qualification for the 202627 UEFA Women’s Champions League preliminary round.
