Rita Guarino can be satisfied. After nearly six months of not having her team on the field, her ladies passed their first test of the preseason with flying colours. This evening, the Bianconere took to the field against Florentia in Parma behind closed doors, where they ran out 6-1 winners.

The first half saw Juventus take hold of a two-goal lead through Sofie Pedersen and Barbara Bonansea, before they swept aside their opponents in the second. Andrea Staskova got onto the scoresheet after the restart, along with Maria Alves, who secured a brace, while Bonansea wrapped up the victory with the six and final goal. Florentia pulled one back through Sofie Cantore.

Here is what Coach Guarino said after the game: “It was certainly all exciting because seeing the girls again being able to walk on the pitch was wonderful even if in a friendly match. Seeing the girls in a game for more the first time in more than 5 months, was, one hand, emotion.

“Anyway, there is also the desire to find the best condition that clearly only game-time can give you. Above all, in view of the season, that will shortly start, we will try to put in as much fuel as possible in the next 20 days, because we have to find a clear condition and pace.”

Juventus XI: Giuliani (Bacic 30’, Tasselli 61’); Hyyrynen, Gama (Salvai 46’), Sembrant, Boattin (Giordano 61’); Caruso, Pedersen (Zamanian 46’), Rosucci (Galli 46’); Cernoia (Maria Alves 46’), Girelli (Staskova 46’), Bonansea

Substitutes: Bacic, Tasselli, Salvai, Lundorf, Giordano, Galli, Staskova, Zamanian, Maria Alves
