The Men’s First Team wrapped up their Juventus Summer Tour with a 2-0 win over Palermo in Perth on Tuesday afternoon.

Kenan Yildiz opened the scoring in the first half, and Arkadiusz Milik sealed the win in the last few minutes of the 90.

THE MATCH REPORT

The Bianconeri took control of the game early on, and went close through Yildiz combining with Randal Kolo Muani inside ten minutes. Francisco Conceicao tried to create after a quarter of an hour by putting a ball into the box, before he tried to score himself ten minutes later.

With the half-hour mark nearing, Yildiz went in search of a goal for himself, but he sent his shot narrowly off target.

Palermo looked to trouble Mattia Perin and the Bianconeri backline themselves, but without success.

Continuing to push, the Bianconeri found the breakthrough in the 44th minute. Conceicao found Zeki Celik, and he then found his compatriot Yildiz to open the scoring before the break.

Kolo Muani kept leading the attack into the second half, and had two chances to double the lead, having linked up first with Kerim Alajbegovic and then with Jeremie Boga.

Edon Zhegrova probed Palermo’s backline as well, but he saw his attempt stopped.

In the 86th minute, Milik got the second goal of the game, having moments earlier had one ruled out for offside.

And so the Bianconeri will depart Perth and bring the Juventus Summer Tour to a close to head back home to Turin. Upon their return in Italy, an Allianz Stadium date with the Next Gen side awaits on 17 August ahead of the Serie A season kicking off.
