Last year's 1-0 win against our Tuesday opponents seems to be somewhat commomplace. We've had many one goal wins against Cagliari in history and here are the most significant victories in history.

1968-69 PIETRO ANASTASI

It was the first victory for the Old Lady in Sardinia, dated March 9, 1969. The goal came by way of Pietro Anastasi, who pounced on the end of a parried shot by Albertosi, his national team team-mate in which the two participated in many games where they played together.

1972-73 JOSE' ALTAFINI

In 1973, Jose Altafini skillfully raced past Comunardo Niccolai to create an opportunity on goal. Keeper, Enrico Albertosi couldn’t do anything as the ball went flying into the far corner.

1981-82 MARCO TARDELLI

Marco Tardelli's goal in the following decade is still in our minds, with a free-kick taken by Antonio Cabrini to inspire him. A few months later, the two were goalscorers for both Italy against Argentina at the 1982 World Cup in Spain.

1993-94 FABRIZIO RAVANELLI

In 1994, this match was decided from the penalty spot - Fabrizio Ravanelli took the vital kick, which was too much for goalkeeper, Valerio Fiori.

1999-2000 ANTONIO CONTE
