Coach Allegri’s records

The story of Coach Massimiliano Allegri on the Juventus bench is also, so far, a story of many records set. Let's look at some of them together.

200 ON THE DOT

Massimiliano Allegri won 200 matches as a coach in Serie A with Juventus; only Giovanni Trapattoni has more victories at the helm of a single team in the competition (213, also with the Bianconeri).

This figure places him among one of four managers to have won the most matches with a single team in the five major European leagues since the beginning of the last decade, together with Diego Simeone of Atletico Madrid, Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola and Jürgen Klopp of Liverpool.

QUADRUPLE FIGURES

Massimiliano Allegri could become the first coach in the history of Serie A to cross the 1000 point milestone: the Juventus coach currently has 999 points to his name, having surpassed Luciano Spalletti's tally of 996.

ON REPEAT

Allegri is the only coach in the history of Serie A to have won five consecutive Scudetti, between 2014/15 and 2018/19; only Giovanni Trapattoni has won more Scudetti (six) than him in the history of Serie A.

CUP GLORY

Allegri is the only coach to have won four consecutive editions of the Italian Cup: between 2014/15 and 2017/18.

PERCENTAGE KING

Ours is the coach who boasts the highest percentage of victories in Serie A with a single team, among the coaches who have made at least 150 games on the bench (69%).

CLEAN SHEETS RECORD

Only on two occasions in the entire history of Serie A has a team managed to keep a clean sheet in 10 consecutive matches: in both cases it was Juventus, with Massimiliano Allegri on the bench (between January and March 2016 and between January and March 2018). His Juventus team has collected 142 clean sheets in Serie A with Juventus; only one team in the history of the competition has kept more clean sheets under the management of a single coach: Juventus again, with Giovanni Trapattoni at the helm (185).

UNBEATABLE

Between September 2015 and September 2017, Massimiliano Allegri remained unbeaten in 41 consecutive home matches with Juventus in Serie A: a record for a coach with a single team in the three points-for-a-win era (since 1994/95).

TALKING ABOUT VICTORIES...

With Allegri on the bench, Juventus recorded its best series of consecutive victories from 1929/30 to today: 13, between December 2015 and February 2016 (in this series 10 came in the league, three in the Italian Cup). Looking only at European competitions, only Marcello Lippi has more victories (38) and appearances (76) than him, with 35 wins in 68 matches for our current coach.

KING OF TURIN

No coach has won more Turin Derbies than Allegri, considering all competitions: 13 victories, equal to Giovanni Trapattoni.
