Cristiano Ronaldo capped off his January MVP of the Month award with a sensational double in the Bianconeri’s 3-3 draw with Parma. Reaching yet another number of impressive stats, further demonstrating his remarkable season so far in Bianconero.

Last night’s escapades saw Cristiano score his 17thgoal in Serie A. At a goal-pace we last witnessed over 10 years ago when David Trezeguet bettered Ronaldo’s outing in our 2005/06 winning season.

Not only that, but he now sits alone as Serie A’s top goal-scorer this season. Scoring against 13 of the 19 league teams he’s battled against. His 19 goals and 9 assists in all competitions this season means that he’s been directly involved in 28 goals out of 30 games. Outstanding.

Further proof of Ronaldo’s ability as a difference-maker, comes in the fact that the Portuguese forward has opened the scoring in seven games this season, a joint-record in the league.

Despite the goals, Ronaldo showed his winning mentality when speaking with the media post-match: "I’m happy about the goals but not the result. This is football. We dropped back in the final few minutes and Parma capitalised on our mistakes... I don’t think the last few results are because of our heavy workload. We’re relaxed and not worried.”

This desire has no doubt played a part in Ronaldo being crowned Juventus MVP of the Month on four occasions already this season!

Now Ronaldo and Juventus must look ahead to the Bianconeri’s next fixture, away to Sassuolo next Sunday (18:00 CET), with the aim of picking up all three points. As stated by CR7 himself:

'This is football... Let’s look forward and get back to winning now! Come on Juve! Fino Alla Fine’

Couldn’t have said it any better!
