Denis Zakaria joins Monaco

Denis Zakaria, who returned from loan at Chelsea at the end of the 2022/23 season, has left the Bianconeri for Monaco.

The Swiss midfielder has now moved to Ligue 1, having joined Juventus in January 2022. He moved to Chelsea on a season-long loan in September of the same year, bidding farewell to Juventus after 15 appearances and one goal. That one goal was scored in his debut match against Hellas Verona at the Allianz Stadium.

He made 11 appearances last season for the Blues, including seven in the Premier League, and four between the EFL Cup, FA Cup and Champions League.

Now a new chapter of his career begins, this time in the French top-flight.
