12 months ago, Juventus launched an important awareness campaign against violence against women. An invitation to reflect, but above all to take a stand, without sitting in silence and watching.

A campaign that took shape physically, in collaboration with We Are Social, on the occasion of the Juventus-Atalanta match, on November 27th, and which received the "Silver" award as part of Clio Sports 2022.

On November 27th, the Allianz Stadium became the largest infographic in the world: one seat out of three was dressed in orange, with the words "Don't sit and watch" and a QR code explaining the initiative, physically symbolising the data, in that one in three women in the world suffers violence in the course of her life, which, extrapolated means about 736 million women in total are subjected to physical or sexual violence (source: World Health Organization report 2021).

WHY ORANGE?

Because November 25th is the International Day against Violence against Women, also known as Orange Day: the colour, chosen by UN Women, the United Nations body that deals with gender equality, wants to symbolise a future without violence against women.

WHAT ARE THE CLIO AWARDS?

The Clio Awards are an annual awards programme that recognises and honours innovation and excellence in advertising, design, and communication. Since 2014, the Clio Sports award has celebrated the best sports marketing and communication initiatives around the world. The next awards ceremony will be held in Milan on December 8th.

It’s not the first time that Juventus has been awarded by Clio Sports: in 2016, the "If We Go to the Final" campaign, in 2018, the "Mister No Good" campaign and in 2021, the "Numbers vs Numbers" campaign were all awarded.
