Facundo Gonzalez joins Sampdoria on loan

Facundo Gonzalez will continue his growth in Italy at Sampdoria, signing a one-year loan deal with the Ligurian club.

Having joined on a permanent deal from Valencia, the Uruguayan defender took to the field with the Next Gen shirt on the occasion of the friendly encounter with the First Team at the Allianz Stadium, before featuring in two pre-season friendlies against Pro Vercelli and Novara.

The 20-year-old now has the opportunity to develop himself in Serie B, under the mentorship of Andrea Pirlo.
