SUPER CUP HISTORY Tonight, will mark the 33rd edition of the Italian Super Cup: the defending Scudetto champion has raised the trophy on the most occasions in 69% of the occasions so far (22 out of 32); however, the last edition saw Lazio claim victory in Saudi Arabia.
IN THE SUPER CUP FINAL For Juventus this is their 16th participation in the Italian Super Cup (at least five more than any other team); Napoli will play in this final for the fourth time. The Bianconeri are also the team that has won the most (eight) the tournament.
JUVE – NAPOLI IN THE CUP This will be the fourth match between Juventus and Napoli in the Italian Super Cup (one win, one draw, one loss each), only the match between Juventus and Lazio has been played more frequently (five).
