The Women’s First Team continued pre-season in impressive style on Thursday evening, beating FC Puskas 5-1 in Biella after a stellar second-half showing.
Barbara Bonansea got the only goal of the first half, before Annamaria Serturini, Emma Stolen Godo (two), and Abi Brighton joined the party in the second.
The opening goal came shortly after the quarter-hour mark through Bonansea, set up by Tatiana Pinto. But things were turned up a notch after the break, and the Bianconere started to flex a little.
Serturini made it two within ten minutes of the restart, having been teed up by Stolen Godo, and the Norwegian signed her own name on the score sheet to get the Bianconere’s fourth. That fourth came after Brighton netted an olimpico for the third, finding the back of the net directly from a corner.
The scoring was completed when Stolen Godo added the hosts’ fifth.
