Fresh from yesterday’s 1-0 victory over Genoa, their 13th consecutive Serie A triumph, Juventus returned to Vinovo this morning to begin preparations for Sunday afternoon’s trip to face Frosinone.
Those who lined up against the Rossoblu last night conducted a warm-down, while the remainder of the group contested a 45-minute training ground friendly against Fossano, a side who ply their trade in the Promozione division.
The game provided an ideal opportunity for Roberto Pereyra and Mario Lemina to get some vital match practice under their belts, with the latter scoring two of the four goals hit by the Bianconeri. Also helping himself to a brace was Simone Zaza, who came on as a second-half substitute last night against Genoa.
Elsewhere, Martin Caceres underwent a series of tests to ascertain the full extent of his injury. These confirmed a torn right Achilles tendon and the player will have surgery tomorrow.
Juventus will continue their preparations for the weekend trip to the Stadio Matusa when they regroup in Vinovo tomorrow for another morning session.
