The 2024/25 season ended in style for Juventus Women, lifting the Italian Cup in Como to complete a league and cup double, having already been crowned Serie A champions.
Their dominance of the Italian game this season has been reflected in the official Team of the Season - Top 11 - with four Bianconere making the XI.
Let’s take a look at those who made the cut…
EMMA KULLBERG
Of all newcomers to Serie A this season, Emma is the only one with a hand in more than two league goals (three assists), and only Tecla Pettenuzzo (23) blocked more shots than her 22 this term.
MARTINA LENZINI
Of the defenders with at least 30 attempted, nobody completed more crosses than Martina’s 34.3%. As well, of the defenders to have taken part in at least two goals, only Estelle Cascarino (791) played fewer minutes than her 1,374 in the league.
SOFIA CANTORE
Sofia was the only forward with more than 10 goals and more than six assists (11 and seven), but she also had the highest pass completion rate of forwards with more than 200 passes attempted in the final third (78% - 213 of 272).
CRISTIANA GIRELLI
With 19, nobody scored more goals than Cristiana this year, and eight of those came with her head - again a league high. She was also the only player to have had a hand in more than 20 goals (21, with 19 goals and two assists).
